FocalPoint Founder Scoops Industry Achievement Award
We’re delighted to announce our Founder & CEO Dr Ramsey Faragher has been awarded the Per Enge Early Achievement Award for outstanding innovations in mobile positioning and navigation by the Institute of Navigation (ION) at its annual awards in San Diego, California.
The award recognises Ramsey’s work on our patented SuperCorrelation technology - described by the committee as “pioneering and revolutionary” - which dramatically transforms positioning capability and availability in urban areas and indoors.
Applications include indoor wayfinding, accurate health and fitness wearables, autonomous vehicles and last metre services.
The ION presented the annual awards during the ION International Technical Meeting (ITM) and Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications (PTTI) meeting in San Diego, California, Jan. 21-24.
The Per Enge Early Achievement Award is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions made early in one’s career and it follows on the heels of Ramsey's GPS World signals leadership award, also for his work on for our groundbreaking SuperCorrelation technology.
The ION Annual Awards Program is sponsored by The Institute of Navigation to recognize individuals making significant contributions or demonstrating outstanding performance relating to the art and science of navigation.
