How does S-GNSS® Cell work?

S-GNSS® Cell is a software upgrade for existing GNSS receivers that operates in the measurement domain. It combines our patented Supercorrelation™ technology and our human motion modelling technology to mitigate the degradation in accuracy caused by signal reflections and attenuation.

Boosts line-of-sight signals

S-GNSS locks on to the line-of-sight signals, while ignoring all others. It optimises the performance of concealed antennas and maintains accurate tracking under foliage.

Attenuates non-line-of-sight signals

By identifying and eliminating inaccurate signals, S-GNSS mitigates the effects of multipath interference, and helps to protect against spoofing attacks.

Supercorrelation™, our patented technology that powers S-GNSS, is designed for the modern system-on-a-chip silicon architecture used by all consumer GNSS receivers. It requires no extra hardware or infrastructure and fits into existing architecture as an over-the-air software upgrade.
